Four Ways I’m Savoring Summer

This post is sponsored by Follain. I am collaborating with Follain on a (mostly) monthly basis. I am being compensated in credit at Follain, but the only difference is that these posts will typically have a preset prompt and most of the focus will be on products from Follain. Usual chattiness and honest opinion still included.

For as long as I’ve had Nephriticus, I’ve been in school. Until this summer, when I graduated, did some traveling, and now I’m living in the Pacific Northwest and working.

So I’m definitely savoring my last long summer. Here are some ways how:

Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream. I’ve already dedicated a post to it, but the short of it is that even though I’m now in a place where the primary weather forecast is endless drizzle, I’m continuing the daily SPF. And this one isn’t greasy, serves as a great primer for my makeup, and not going to lie, I’m going to start applying it to my left arm because it’s starting to get a car tan. ?

Vered Organic Botanicals Le Chocolat Citrus Foaming Face Scrub. I sweat easily, and I saw a lot of 100+ degree weather this summer, which also meant my pores clogged pretty easily until I returned home to all of my products and got back on a usual exfoliating schedule. This exfoliant smells like chocolate, has sugar that feels scrubby at first but quickly melts, and leaves behind nourishing oils, which are great from shielding my skin from feeling stripped while getting hit with water in the shower.

Vapour Solar Translucent Bronzer. While it’s currently sunny in Seattle, soon it’s going to be rainy all day every day. I’ll be sporting this on my cheeks to give me a bit of a bronze and give a bit of slim-down to my face as well.

RMS Beauty Living Lumizer. The OG highlighter in the green beauty biz. I recently dipped my fingers back into this pot and it was love again at first swipe. It’s a beautiful dewiness in the inner eye corners and down the nose bridge for not just when the sun shines, but any time of the year.

W3ll People Bio Brightener Invisible Powder. While summer is about that glow, I try my best to avoid the sweaty glow. Before this one I had been an RMS Beauty “Un” Powder user, but I’m hooked on this. The “Un” Powder really mattifies me down, but this one still leaves my skin looking natural while still semi-mattifying my skin. While nothing can stop the sweat at the end of the day, this can keep me looking decent for a couple of hours before then.

How are you holding onto summer? Or are you getting an early start for fall?

Disclaimer: I’ve purchased all of the products mentioned above either with my own money or with the help of Follain credit. Mostly said in the preface, but I’ll repeat it again here. This is a sponsored post by Follain, and I am being compensated for this post. That being said, all opinions expressed in this post are my own.
