Howdy, howdy. Some expired makeup coming at you today from this lovely Spring. It’s a mixed bag of loves, likes, mehs, and things that just did not work out for me. Click play above to start watching or head on over to YouTube to see the full information box in its glory (search “nephriticus”). If you’ve tried any of the products mentioned, I would love to hear your thoughts! xx
I’ve been accumulating empty products from body oils to hydrating serums to cleansers for the past several months, and have put them together in one video of mini-reviews to share with you. To see the products mentioned, any relevant posts, and what makeup I was wearing, head on over to YouTube to see the full description box (along with individual timings for each product–I know I talk a lot). If you like the video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe, and if you’ve tried any of the products mentioned, please do let me know your thoughts in the comments!
It’s getting serious when you’re starting a count, right? Keeping up the motivation from the #GreenSurvivor Challenge and finishing up my products. Lots of favorites and essentials in this one, including YÜLI Halcyon, Osmia Organics Active Gel Toner, and more. Also hints for the next post to come. Watch it below or head on over to YouTube!
You may have noticed something sneaky pop up on my Twitter feed the other day. That’s right: Nephriticus is on YouTube! I didn’t ask for your video suggestions during my Birthday Giveaway all for nothing–I am eager to expand on the YouTube space so I can show #greenbeauty products in action, and I’m kicking it off with a recap of my empties from Tamara’s #GreenSurvivor Challenge. Hop on over here to check it out, and please let me know your thoughts and suggestions!
read: I have run out of a few of my favorite things and I am sad.
Also sad I’ve run out of this jojoba oil moisturizer sample from Skin & Bones as well. I experimented a bit with using it for my face, but since I am trying to stick to a routine to clear up a bout of facial acne, I ended up using it more as a body moisturizer. It has this exotic woodsy smell that is really fresh right after the shower, absorbs well and easily, and keeps my body nicely moisturized. ($30 – 1.7 oz, $50 – 3.4 oz, $90 – 6.7 oz, $0 if you catch it on a free sample Friday!)
I am terribly, terribly sad I am already out of this Panacea Elixir by YULI Skincare. I went through the trial version in a week, and I loved using it to set makeup and as a refreshing mist during the day. It has all sorts of goodness in it for balancing, hydrating, and decongesting the skin which is awesome, and smells kind of like dates (the fruit. Not sure what dates with people smell like). Would definitely repurchase if I wasn’t a poor musician. ($12.00 – trial, $36.00 – full)
